1. READ FIRST
=======================================================================

To make things clear, Gorilla 2: The Return version 3.0 is not an
add-on to previous versions. It is a new version and an entirely new
program.

=======================================================================
2. OVERVIEW
=======================================================================

Remember the QBasic sample game, Gorillas? If not, I'll refresh your
memory. It was the classic game that came along with QBasic where two
gorillas fought to the death atop city buildings with explosive
bananas! Well the long awaited sequel has finally arrived, thus we
present Gorilla 2: The Return.

Gorilla 2: The Return is packed with new additions, including an
entire arsenal of banana types, more gorilla characters, enhanced
graphics, and the ability to play online! Your goal is to hit your
opponent by varying the angle and power of your throw, taking into
account wind speed, wind direction, gravity, and the city skyline.

7. KNOWN BUGS AND OTHER ISSUES
=======================================================================

Throwing
----------------
While a throw is in progress, you will not be able to move the game
on the desktop. In addition, chat is also disabled during a throw. We
hope to have this fixed in the next version of Gorilla 2: The Return.

OLEAUT32.DLL
----------------
"The file 'OLEAUT32.DLL' is out of date. This program requires a newer
version." The solution to this problem is to install the latest VB
runtimes, which can be found here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp4/win98/EN-US/VBRun60sp4.exe

Important
----------------
DO NOT edit any of files found in the Gorilla 2: The Return folder as
certain changes will cause the game to crash.

Unable to Connect?
----------------
As with any online game, firewalls are sometimes the cause of
connection problems.
If you or other players are having problems connecting to the host,
determine which players are running a firewall, and whether or not
everyone's firewalls are configured properly to allow connections made
by Gorilla 2: The Return. Do this before making any complaints!
Advanced note: All Gorilla 2: The Return connections are made on port
4000.

Found a Bug?
----------------

When reporting the bug, be sure to describe the exact error message
and/or circumstances under which the bug is encountered.
